September 27, 2008 - Borgers Speedway, Saylorsburg, PA

Rain, Rain Go Away.....rained out!!  This was out last points race.

September 20, 2008 - Greenwood Valley Action Tracks, Orangeville, PA

Seven cars came to Greenwood Valley tonight with a beautiful night for racing.  T.C. Moore was the lucky polesitter tonight in our 8 lap Heat, followed by Steve Sacks, Dan Souder, Tanner Rumburg, Tyler Fisher, Madison Brensinger and Bubba Lofton.  At the green, Sacks pulls in front of Moore quickly with Souder close behind, Sacks then slips back to 3rd with Souder now in the lead and Fisher moving up from 5th to 2nd.  Rumburg drove great holding onto 4th as well as Brensinger recouping from the DNF last night and holding onto 5th.  Newcomer Lofton still getting the hang of a YG390 drove pretty good too. The Heat ended with Souder, Fisher, Sacks, Rumburg, Brensinger, Moore and Lofton.  The Feature was 15 laps, and Souder and Fisher were battling it out for several laps with Fisher taking the lead and pulling away from the pack.  Moore was having car trouble, stopped and had to be pushed off the track.  Souder remained in 2nd. Rumburg and Sacks were also battling it out for several laps with Sacks prevailing.  Brensinger and Lofton were holding onto their start positions repectfully. At the checkered, it was Fisher, Souder, Sacks, Rumburg, Brensinger, Lofton and Moore as a DNF.

September 19, 2008 - Selinsgrove Speedway, Selinsgrove, PA

We had 6 cars facing tonight of one of the best maintained tracks around.  Madison Brensinger pulled for the pole position, for the 10 lap Heat, followed by Dan Souder, Steve Sacks, Tyler Fisher, Tanner Rumburg and newcomer and former quarter midget racer, Bubba Lofton.  Steve Sacks loves this track and wasted no time getting into the lead, but Tyler Fisher, who started in 4th was right behind Sacks up until around lap 5, when one of the flag men accidently threw the yellow  which Fisher saw and he slowed down, droppin ghim back to 5th!  Rumburg now has moved up from 5th to 3rd.  Souder was able to hold onto 3rd for the entire race. Brensinger fell back to 4th and Lofton was 6th.  At the finish it was Sacks, Souder, Rumburg, Brensinger, Fisher and Lofton.  For the 20 lap Feature, Sacks was holding onto the lead, with Souder and Rumburg close behind.  At about lap 4, Rumburg got by Souder, but Souder took it back in the next lap.  Fisher was on a mission and got all the way up to 2nd, closing in on Sacks.  Rumburg fell back to 4th and Brensinger pulled off the track due to fuel pump issues.  Sacks and Fisher are running 1st and 2nd, then on lap 18, Fisher made his move for the lead.  The Feature ended with Fisher, Sacks, Souder, Rumburg, Lofton and Brensinger as a DNF.  It was a real good race!!

September 13, 2008 - Shippensburg Speedway, Shippensburg, PA

Tonight we were running with 6 cars.  Madison Brensinger was once again the lucky polesitter for the 8 lap Heat, followed by Tyler Fisher, Dan Souder, Tanner Rumburg, Steve Sacks and Sean Case, who's run a YG390 only three times this season.  Fisher was having some trouble and was a DNS, Sacks took the lead with Souder close behind, Case was able to move from 6the to 3rd rather quickly and Rumburg remained in his starting postition throughout the race.  The Heat finish was, Sacks, Souder, Case, Rumburg, Brensinger and Fisher as a DNS.  At the 15 lap Feature, Sacks and Souder got tangled up on the first lap, not causing a yellow, but they dropped back to 4th and 5th, putting Case in the lead for a few laps.  Fisher drove great and came from last to take the lead away from Case. Brensinger was driving her heart out for 3rd. At some point, Rumburg had some trouble and was a DNF unfortunately.  The Feature looked like this, Fisher, Case, Brensinger, Sacks, Souder and Rumburg as a DNF.  Super Race Young Gunners!!

September 6, 2008 - Airport Speedway, New Castle, DE

Thanks to Hurricane Hanna, tonight was a rain out.

August 30, 2008 - Greenwood Valley Action Track, Orangeville, PA

All of the Young Gunners like this track because it's big and wide, but sometimes this track doesn't like us!  We had five cars running tonight with Tyler Fisher getting the pole position, followed by Dan Souder, Tanner Rumburg, Madison Brensinger and Steve Sacks for the 10 lap Heat.  The track was a bit dusty but all in all it was a good race with Madison Brensinger driving one of her best races moving up to 3rd from 4th.  Tanner Rumburg dropped back to 5th and Steve Sacks moved up to 4th by the end of the race.  For the 20 lap Feature, that's where the Young Gunners had a couple of problems.  Tyler Fisher was leading the race and half way through his throttle cable broke...this is the second time this has happened this season for him, so he was a DNF.  Madison Brensinger again was driving so hard and fast, working her way up to the lead, when suddenly she had engine trouble and stopped dead on the track and was also a DNF.  That put Dan Souder in the lead and he wasted no time pulling away from Tanner Rumburg and Steve Sacks.  Steve Sacks was having some trouble with his car also by lap 15 and fell back and remained in 3rd for the rest of the race.  The race ended with Souder, Rumburg and Sacks taking the checkered.

August 15, 2008 - Selinsgrove Speedway, Selinsgrove, PA

Returning to Selinsgrove for our second trip turned out a beautiful night of racing.  Nate Prazenica was our lucky polesitter for a 10 lap Heat, followed by T.C. Moore, Dan Souder, Madison Brensinger, Steve Sacks and Tyler Fisher.  Nate was driving a great race in the lead, bobbling twice on an infield tire but holding it together, Steve Sacks was charging hard from 5th to 2nd with Tyler Fisher close behind him.  Dan Souder dropped back to 4th as did Madison Brensinger and T.C. Moore.  The Heat ended with Prazenica, Sacks, Fisher, Souder, Brensinger and Moore.  The 20 lap Feature started with Sacks getting a jump start on polesitter Prazenica, and taking the lead into turn 1.  Sacks started pulling away, but along comes Fisher finally getting around Prazenica for 2nd and he was charging hard toward Sacks.  Prazenica and Souder were battling it out when Prazenica had smoke coming from his car and it just stopped, putting Souder into 3rd, but  Madison Bresninger wasn't gonna let Souder go for 3rd all alone and she put her foot into it and challanged him down the front straightaway.  Souder eventually grabbed 3rd.  The Feature ended with Sacks, Fisher, Souder, Brensinger, Moore and Prazenica as a DNF.   Great show Young Gunners!!

August 13, 2008 - Kutztown Speedway Fair Race, Kutztown, PA

The Kutztown Fair Race always brings packed stands and with 6 cars in the lineup we were ready to put on a great show!  For the 8 lap Heat lineup we had Tyler Fisher on the pole followed by Dan Souder, Steve Sacks, Madison Brensinger, Nate Prazenica and newcomer Matt Tanner.  Tyler Fisher and Dan Souder had a great race up front.  Madison Brensinger had a fantastic race moving up from 4th to 3rd.  Steve Sacks got tangled up with Nate Prazenica on the last lap and neither of them had finished and newcomer Matt Tanner showed his stuff in his first time in a YG390 car.   The heat ended with Fisher, Souder, Brensinger, Tanner, Prazenica and Sacks.  The 15 lap Feature had a rain delay of about an hour, but the Young Gunners were able to get it in.  The track was better than ever with the light rain that had fallen.  With Fisher on the pole and Souder right on his tail it was a good race for the lead, each taking turns for the lead with Souder taking the checkered.  Sacks came from 6th and worked his way all the way up to 3rd with Nate Prazenica close behind.   The Feature ended  with Souder, Fisher, Sacks, Prazenica, Tanner and Brensinger.
